Which service is right for you ?
We design our services to meet your needs. Our aim is to help you, or your design team, to deliver an effective and inclusive website. Below are some of the most common requests and the services we recommend. If none of these fit the bill then feel free to contact us and explain your particular requirements.
I need to decide whether to make my current site accessible or to start again from scratch.
Our website accessibility testing service can help you to decide whether it is worth editing your current site, or starting afresh. Our experts and panel of disabled users check your site against the W3C Accessibility guidelines and provide you with a score sheet showing you which guidelines are passed and which are failed. Depending upon the number and complexity of failures you can estimate how much effort would be required to make your current site accessible.
I need to build a new site that meets accessibility guidelines
You may need to start by undertaking some training. Try either our on-line course (free), one of our hands-on training workshops or a bespoke course for your team at your place or ours.
Through the development phase our template testing service will ensure that the basic structure of your site maintains full accessibility. If you need easy access to expert help during the design process then you should consider our support package.
I need to learn more about web accessibility
Our on-line web accessibility course provides information about specific accessibility topics (e.g form design, font faces, using tables etc.). You can follow the whole course, or just dip into specific topics.
I need to make an existing website accessible
If you wish to maintain your existing "look and feel" then our standard web accessibility report is ideal. We tell you what the problems are and suggest suitable ways to fix them. All our reports come with continuing support by email or telephone.
If you want to make a complete overhaul to improve style and usability then our combined usability and accessibility report provides practical advice on overall usability from our experts and a suitable panel of users, plus our standard accessibility report.
I need to demonstrate that my site meets the WAI accessibility guidelines and complies with the DDA
Our website accessibility testing service provides independent certification that your site meets the W3C Accessibility Initiative guidelines. We even offer a free retest if you make the required corrections within eight weeks. Sites that pass the test are awarded a certificate of compliance.
I need to be convinced that accessibility is an important issue.
Read our articles that explain the legal, commercial and social reasons for having an accessible website.
Ask for a free "spot check" to get a rough idea of how easily disabled people use your current site.
Why not attend one of our free awareness seminars.
