This on-line course on web accessibility explains clearly and simply how to build any website so that it is accessible to disabled users as well as all other visitors.
You can work at your own pace and stop and restart as often as you wish. Each lesson has a number of exercises which are marked on-line and a forum is available for discussing issues with our trainers and other students.

WAI Compliance Tests and Certification for DDA
Our basic website accessibility testing process will check your site for compliance with the WAI Guidelines. These guidelines are issued by the World-Wide-Web Consortium (W3C) that oversees the web and its development. We can use either the latest version of these guidelines (published in December 2008) or the original Version 1. We conduct tests against each of the three priority levels (A, AA, and AAA). and we use input from disabled users to support our specialist technical analysis. The test report will indicate Pass, Fail or Near for each checkpoint at the level being tested.
Once your site complies with the guidelines at the appropriate level we issue a compliance certificate. This will allow you to demonstrate that independent specialists, as well as disabled users have verified that the website provides an effective level of service for all users.
